Okay, November is now official “Video” month on this blog. ;-)
This is a WOW video.
Former Harvard research brain scientist, Jill Bolte Taylor, describes her experience of having a stroke… from the inside out. May sound boring? Stick with watching the whole thing …unless you are clairvoyant, you are not expecting this. This video is one of the Top 10 most popular videos from the prestigious TED conferences. See why:

…and tell me you don’t get chills watching it!
Q: how does this relate to real estate investing?
A: to be successful, be connected, be inspired.

A bit of a stretch, but stick with me here — as an entrepreneur and business owner, often times we’re thinking how to find customers (in multifamily real estate, these would be your renters or investors!), and we put ourselves BEFORE the customers, where really you want it the other way around to be more effective.
Seth is one of the most in-tune, in-touch, intuitive people out there. He’s a highly respected marketing expert, and refers to himself as “Agent of Change.”

From Christine Serlin, Editor of Apartment Finance Today:
“According to Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2009, a report released in October by the Urban Land Institute and PricewaterhouseCoopers, the financial and real estate markets will bottom out in 2009 and continue to flounder in 2010. But the report shows some brighter spots for the multifamily industry. It lists the apartment market as the No. 1 “buy” due to distress in the single-family market. And real estate experts believe moderate-income apartments in core urban areas near mass transit offer the best value. The apartment market also takes the report’s top position among the property sectors most promising for investment.”
